CSH Surrey is one of three NHS partners that provide the Children and Family Health Surrey service. The other two partners are First Community Health and Care, and Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Together, we provide one Surrey-wide community health service for children and young people from 0 to 19 years of age (up to 25 years for young adults with additional needs) and their families and carers.

The service brings together physical and emotional health services designed around the needs of the children, young people and their families. These include health visiting, school-age nursing and immunisations, therapies (dietetics, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy), emotional wellbeing services and specialist health services for children with additional medical, physical and learning disability needs.

Hours: Flexible hours with no obligation to work hours offered

Based at: Epsom General Hospital

CSH Surrey is looking for innovative Occupational Therapists with experience in paediatrics. This will offer the successful candidates the opportunity to work alongside our supportive team of experienced therapists and technicians in providing a high quality assessment and treatment service to children aged 0-19 years in our health service and within mainstream schools and specialist centres.The successful applicants will work with children with a variety of conditions, including sensory processing and co-ordination difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders and learning difficulties.If you have a particular area you would like to work in, let us know!

Due to the community nature of this post the candidates will need to have experience of independent working, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Successful applicants, who have not worked for CSH within the last 12 months, will receive an amount of £2000 paid in 2 instalments - £1000 upon commencement and a further £1000 following successful completion of probation.
