MacGregor Ward is an 18 bedded busy acute general Paediatric Ward. We are a friendly, welcoming, highly motivated team who are committed to providing the highest quality of care. We are the children’s advocate and work with the philosophy of ‘Putting Children First’.

This involves us providing a stimulating, family centred approach which ensures a happy, safe and child friendly environment. We work with the ethos of ‘working together’ as part of a multi-disciplinary team, facilitating a rich learning environment, maximising knowledge and skills, thus meeting the needs of all our children and young people.

These posts would also be suitable for recently qualified Children and Young People’s Nurses who will be fully supported into the role and provided with an excellent preceptorship programme.

ASSESSMENT CENTRE

To help us achieve our vision of providing the best possible healthcare, South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust run Assessment Centres to select its future employees. These vary depending on the vacancy but their core purpose is to create an environment in which you, along with other candidates are able to demonstrate key workplace skills.

The Assessment Centre will be an opportunity for you get a feel for the culture, leadership, and learning opportunities within South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. Assessment is based on a numeracy test, an interview and a group exercise which will be undertaken against the core values and behaviours that our employees pride themselves with.
