Salary: £25,551 per annum

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are recruiting students who can demonstrate that they have the aptitude to work in Community teams.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated nurses who wish to develop their careers in Health Visiting; you will study for BSc (Hons) Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN). The posts will be based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Essential Requirements are:

• First level nurse registration with the NMC (current)

• 120 CAT points – Diploma level (5/6) qualification or equivalent

• Mentorship qualification – NMC approved/active mentor status ( or working towards)

• Current full driving license and access to a vehicle

Desirable Requirements include:

• Demonstrable post registration experience and preferably community nursing experience

• Demonstrable leadership/management experience

• Evidence of on-going professional development

There will be an Open Evening held at Coach Lane Campus East on Wednesday 7th February 2018 with a presentation at 5-6pm and repeated 6-7pm, please see attached flyer for further details.
