The Regional Drug & Therapeutics Centre (RDTC) is responsible for delivering a range of services relating to optimising medicines use and drug safety. These include monitoring and advising on prescribing and medicines use in primary care across stakeholder organisations and working as part of the NHS England commissioned Specialist Pharmacy Service.

You may be returning to work after a break, looking to reduce hours or simply looking for your next career move in management an exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time (22.5 hours per week) Service Manager to join our existing team.

The post will provide management support to the Director of Pharmacy and relevant section heads in all aspects of operational management, and in achievement of the Department’s objectives.

We are looking for an individual with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, significant NHS experience and experience of team management. Skills in managing change and supporting innovation are essential. Website content management experience would also be advantageous though we can offer in house training if necessary. This post offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge and to further your professional development.

We are happy to work with the post holder to organise the hours worked across weekdays to meet other responsibilities you may have.
