Solent NHS Trust School Nursing Service is looking for a Support Worker to join their team in Portsmouth City. We are a small and friendly team who are passionate about improving health outcomes for the children and young people The service is looking for a personable, confident, assertive and self-motivated individual to support the delivery of the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) in schools to Year R and Year 6 children.

Successful candidates should have an excellent communication skill set which can be transferred when working with children, parents/cares and school staff. Experience of using a range of computer programmes is required although training will be provided.

It is a requirement for the candidate to have and NVQ 3 in Health Care or equivalent to be able to identify the expected developmental milestones during the screening process. This post is 18 hours per week term time only, working 4 mornings per week from 08.30am.
