Changes to the immigration rules may mean that some overseas doctors with immigration status under Tier 1 (General) or existing HSMP immigration status not being allowed to take up medical/training posts in the NHS due to a restriction that may been placed on them at the time of application.
However, eligible doctors from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) can apply for and take up any post, including training posts that may qualify for sponsorship under Tier 2 of the Home Office points-based immigration system.
NHS Jobs is continuing to work with NHS employers across England and Wales to help promote suitable opportunities for these doctors.
You can find these vacancies by clicking on the 'See more options' within the 'Browse jobs' section on the homepage, scrolling down to 'Overseas Doctors' and clicking on 'Jobs suitable for non-EEA applicants'.
