Communications and Engagement Manager, CSH Surrey

CSH Surrey is seeking an experienced communications manager to lead on the delivery of internal and external programmes for its adult community health services, and to support the Head of Communications with corporate communications.

You will act as the adult services’ Communications Business Partner and operate as part of the senior leadership teams, devising communications and engagement strategies and leading on delivery of these. Access to a car is essential as you will be required to attend meetings and support teams across the mid and north west Surrey areas.

The successful candidate will by an experienced and passionate all round senior communications professional with at least two years’ experience of working at Communications Manager level. Excellent stakeholder engagement (internal and external) skills are essential, particularly in relation to supporting change and service transformation. Your ability to influence colleagues and stakeholders and act with diplomacy, integrity and patience will be important.

As an all round communications professional you will be PR and media savvy with experience of working in proactive and reactive press offices, and have first rate copywriting, editing and proof reading skills. Knowledge and experience of managing digital platforms and running social media accounts is essential.

You will be expected to provide senior leaders with strategic counsel as well as practical advice and communications support to staff on the ground. Your ability to work on your own initiative and deliver a task from start to finish with minimal supervision is important, as is your ability to work with ambiguity and change. You will be excellent at multi-tasking and prioritising workload under pressure.

Successful applicants, who have not worked for CSH within the last 12 months, will receive an amount of £2000 paid in 2 instalments - £1000 upon commencement and a further £1000 following successful completion of probation.
