Job responsibilities
The role of Cardiac Physiologist Associate requires the post holder to undertake a broad range of ambulatory techniques, including high skilled recording, measuring and monitoring of physiological changes.
Responsibility for effectively interpreting results and providing factual reports on investigations to enable clinical diagnosis, aiding patient treatment and outcomes.
You should be able to accurately identify situations that need urgent medical attention and escalate as appropriate, using best clinical judgement.
To organise and assist with the ambulatory Electrocardiogram (ECG) training of new Healthcare Scientists, student Cardiac Physiologists and medical students, ensuring staff exposure to a range of patients and clinical environments/ situations during their training period.
You shall effectively assist the Cardiologists in Cardiology clinics and provide support for the Cardiac Physiologists in the provision of clinical care to patients within medical services, this is inclusive of administrative and clerical responsibilities.
