Job summary
This 6 month interim part-time post in respiratory medicine is based within the Cambridge Centre for Lung Infection (CCLI). The CCLI service comprises the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre, the Lung Defence Clinic and the Immunology Clinic at Royal Papworth Hospital.
The post holder will share responsibility for the inpatient and outpatient care of patients with cystic fibrosis and complex lung infections with 6 other respiratory consultants and 1 immunology consultant.
Main duties of the job
To work with the other CCLI Consultants to provide appropriate inpatient and outpatient care for patients with cystic fibrosis and complex lung infections.
To contribute to the training of junior doctors in accordance with the standards required by Royal College and the Postgraduate Dean.
To demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development.
To support CCLI related research, as part of an agreed research programme, and to
contribute to audit activities.
